Capital Area Biblical Studies Fellowship

You are invited to participate in a Study Weekend on the Revelation and Impartation Manifestations of holy spirit taught by Bruce Mahone and Doug Seed on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Woodbridge, Virginia.

This class will explore what the scriptures teach us about the manifestations of holy spirit, with an emphasis on word of knowledge, word of wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, miracles, and gifts of healing.

Who Should Attend:

Anyone desirous of learning about the revelation and impartation manifestations. Prior experience with speaking in tongues, interpretation, and prophecy is recommended.

Conference Fee:

There is no fee for this class. Participants are asked to bring a Bible and writing materials.

The Capital Area Biblical Studies Fellowship is pleased to announce its fourth Couples Advance, to be held February 13, 2010 in Springfield, Virginia. There will be a variety of teachings on scriptural truths relating to marriage, as well as practical suggestions and ample time for discussion and fellowship.

Who may apply:

Any adult (single or married) desirous of learning how to have a healthy, happy marriage (there will be no provisions for children at the event).

Cost:

$20.00 per person (payable at the door) – includes both lunch and dinner

Housing:

If you are coming from out of town, we will be happy to arrange housing with a local believer, or recommend a hotel.

• Couples Advance Application – Feb. 2010

The Capital Area Biblical Studies Fellowship is pleased to announce a Winter Youth Advance, to be held January 1-3, 2010 at Camp Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge Conference Center) in Montebello, Virginia – about three hours southwest of Washington, D.C. Young people (12-30 years of age) will share God’s Word and fellowship with one another in a delightful mountain setting, with ample time for recreation and informal group discussion.

Schedule:

Arrive: 7 – 10 pm on Friday, January 1, 2010
Depart: 11:30 am on Sunday, January 3, 2010

Cost:

$100.00 per person – includes room, board, and all activities. Attendees will be housed together dormitory style in cabins

Parents:

Parents who would like to stay for the weekend are welcome to do so for the same cost ($100). Please fill out a registration form and submit it with half payment. If a sufficient number of adults attend, a separate teaching program will be arranged for them.

You are invited to participate in a Study Weekend on the Worship Manifestations of Speaking in Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues and Prophesy taught by Bruce Mahone on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Woodbridge, Virginia.

This class will explore what the scriptures teach us about the worship or utterance manifestations of holy spirit and how they benefit individual believers, as well as the entire fellowship. Perfect prayer, edification, exhortation, and comfort will be covered in some detail. In addition to teaching, there will be ample opportunity to put these manifestations into practice.

Youth Activities

Recreational activities will be provided for young people on Saturday evening. They are also invited to stay over for Sunday morning fellowship (housing at Mahones’).

There is no fee for this class. A light buffet lunch will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a Bible and writing materials, as well as any food items they would like to share with the group.
